Year 4 Museum Trip

Children in year 4 have had an exciting trip to Peterborough museum where they learnt more about their science topic: teeth and eating by looking at the skulls and fossilised remains of animals from various periods of history and trying to work out what their diet would have been from the type of teeth they had. Children particularly enjoyed looking at the skulls of animals from the ice age, including wooly mammoths and saber tooth tigers.

The children’s behaviour was impeccable, which was noted by both school and museum staff and their level of engagement and enjoyment was fantastic to see, which is evident on the photos!
