Year 5 Stibbington Residential Trip

Wednesday 15 November 2017

On Wednesday we said “goodbye” to Pullman class and “welcome” to Ibbotson class. Pullman finished their trip with some team building activities. Although this was difficult at first, the children soon learnt the importance of working together and listening to each other. After lunch Pullman were awarded certificates for a range of achievements such as happiest walker and tidiest room. It was then Ibbotson’s turn to start the treasure hunt. The children were all extremely excited and enjoyed the walk around the private nature reserve. All of the children used their map reading skills to find the treasure together and orientate using six figure grid references.

Due to the children’s superb behavior they were then allowed to play ‘hide and seek in the dark’ with torches. This was great fun for both the children and teachers!
