On Thursday Ibbotson had a fantastic day, starting with a trip to Sulehay Forest. As Pullman had done previously, the children conducted a range of woodland habitats and investigatory activities. During this, the children spent time looking at different species with magnifying glasses, observing badger sets and building shelters for hedgehogs. After a delicious lunch we decided to discover what owls had consumed for lunch by looking at owl pellets. The children thoroughly enjoyed this, after being unsure to begin with.
